Ian B. Schatzman was born in Miami and grew up in Aventura. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law.

Ian has substantial experience litigating property insurance disputes. He began his legal career representing insurance companies, where he developed firsthand knowledge of how claims are investigated, evaluated, and defended. That experience now serves as a foundation for his representation of homeowners, condominium owners, businesses, and other policyholders in claims against insurance companies.

Ian is a member of The Florida Bar and local bar associations. He lives in Davie with his wife and their two children, a son and daughter. Outside his practice, Ian enjoys golf, basketball, music, and spending time with his family and friends.
