Ian B. Schatzman was born in Miami, Florida and grew up in Aventura.  After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Florida, he returned to South Florida to attend law school at Nova Southeastern University where he received his Juris Doctor degree.

Ian has spent his legal career focusing on the litigation of property insurance lawsuits.  Ian began his career working on behalf of numerous big-name insurance companies. Ian’s experience as an insurance defense attorney has allowed him to understand the inner workings of insurance company claims practices and serves as a foundation for representation of homeowners in their claims against these same insurance companies.

Ian is a current member of the Florida Bar and other local bar associations.  He is also a volunteer Head Hugger for the Special Olympics and has participated in events for Habitat for Humanity and Make a Wish Foundation.

Ian lives in Hollywood with his wife, son and daughter and enjoys golf, basketball, music and spending time with his family and friends.
